More about Jellycat
Soft toys people queue for.
Jellycat stopped being just a baby gift a while ago. Half the people buying them here are grown adults with a shelf at home and a very specific gap on it. We stock 38 pieces at the moment, from £2.50 gift bags to a £60 pelican, and the range turns over quickly because Jellycat retire designs without much warning.
The Amuseables
This is the range that made them famous with grown-ups: everyday objects with a face on. In stock now there is a Watering Can at £45, an Asparagus and a Sweetcorn at £40 each, Broccoli at £45, a Life Ring at £60, and a Hydrangea at £60. Smaller and cheaper: the Codhi Californian Roll at £23, a Cherry at £24, the Coneroi Temaki at £30. If you are buying for someone who already has everything, this is the shelf to look at.
Bashfuls and the classics
The Bashful Bunny Original is £25 and still the one most people mean when they say Jellycat. There is a Gold Medal Ski Outfit version at £50, a Pinchsnap Crab at £45, Larry Lobster in his sailor outfit at £60, and Keli Pelican at £60.
Bags and charms
Jellycat bags sell out faster than anything else we stock. Currently: the Peach Shoulder Bag at £60, an Aubergine Bum Bag at £60, the Smudge Bear Backpack at £55, and a Storm Cloud Crossbody at £30.
Twelve you can only get in the shop
Twelve of the pieces on this page are High Street Exclusives, which means they are available in our King Street shop rather than online. That includes Ghost Bob at £23, the Ooky Jack O Lantern at £23, Broox Bat at £30, Growlston Gargoyle at £35, the Rufferty Puppy Wizard at £55, and the Bashful Cream and Silver Bunnies at £25 each. If you are anywhere near Stirling, they are worth the trip. Several of them are seasonal, so they sit alongside the rest of our Halloween gifts from September.
Everything else here we post across the UK, and delivery is free over £50.
Frequently asked questions
The Jellycat I am looking for is not here. Has it been discontinued?
Probably. Jellycat retire designs regularly and once a character is gone, it is gone for good. If you tell us which one you are after, we will say honestly whether it is coming back or suggest the nearest thing we have. Our guide to choosing a Jellycat is a good place to start.
Can I order the High Street Exclusives online?
Not at the moment. They are in-store only, so you are welcome to come and see them at 19 King Street, or ring us on 01786 478097 and we will tell you what is on the shelf that day.
Which Jellycat is best for a newborn?
A Bashful Bunny at £25 is the safe answer and the one most people choose. It is soft, washable, and small enough for a moses basket. The Amuseables are better for older children and adults, since they are more display piece than comforter.
