More about Trinket Dishes

Somewhere to put the ring.

A trinket dish solves a small, daily, surprisingly annoying problem: where does the ring go when you're washing up? Ours end up on bedside tables, kitchen windowsills and the edge of a great many bathroom sinks.

The cat contingent

We stock more cat trinket dishes than any other kind, which probably tells you something about our customers. There's a white cat face, a sitting cat, a black cat with a moon, and one that simply says "Home Is Where The Cat Is". No apologies.

For everyone else

A frog. A capybara. A circus seal. A sun and moon celestial dish that stacks. Cherries, florals, and a witch's hat for October. Design-led, a little bit funny, and none of them take themselves too seriously.

What they're actually for

Rings and earrings mostly, but they're just as good for keys by the front door, paperclips on a desk, or the odd bits that come out of pockets. Ceramic, easy to wipe clean, and small enough to post.

Prices run from £7.50 to £16, which makes these one of the easiest gifts in the shop: substantial enough to give on their own, small enough to add to something bigger.

Hand-picked for our shop on King Street in Stirling. Come and see them if you're passing, or we'll post one anywhere in the UK, free over £50.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a trinket dish and a ring dish?
Not a great deal. "Ring dish" usually means a smaller one, sometimes with a raised centre to slide rings onto. Ours work for both.

Do trinket dishes make a good gift?
One of the best small ones. They're useful, they're personal if you pick the right animal, and you don't need to know anyone's size or taste in scent.

What else can I keep in one?
Studs, hoops, cufflinks, hair clips, guitar picks, the spare key. Anything that otherwise goes missing.
