Exchanges

Changed your mind on the colour, or picked the wrong size? We’re happy to sort it. We don’t do a direct swap, so it works like this: send the original back for a refund using the steps above, then place a new order for the one you’d rather have. Same 30 day window, and it works the same way whether you’re in the UK or overseas.

Contempo is built on a clear and intentional set of values that guide every buying decision, supplier partnership, and customer interaction:

Originality – We avoid anything generic or overdone. We seek the unique, the overlooked, and the surprising.

Curiosity – We’re led by that “ooh, what’s this?” moment. If we’re excited, you will be too.

Playfulness – Whether it’s a cheeky candle or a pun-filled notebook, we believe our products should make you smile.

Design-Led Thinking – We obsess over how things look and feel. Beautiful packaging, clever design, meaningful form—these matter.

Inclusivity – Our shelves reflect a spectrum of personalities, tastes, and price points. Great design shouldn’t be elitist.

Independence – We champion small makers, independent brands, and ideas that don’t follow the crowd.

A flat paper tree that opens out into a 28cm honeycomb fir, ready to stand on a shelf or hang by the window.

East End Press build this decoration from layers of recycled cotton paper, screen printed by hand in Jaipur with green, red and gold patterns. Open it up, let the magnet catch, and it stands on its own as a centrepiece for the table or mantel, or hangs from its cotton loop. A gorgeous new home gift for anyone spending their first Christmas somewhere new.

Please note: this decoration contains a magnet and is not a toy. Each one is folded by hand, so when it is fresh out of the packet it may need a gentle nudge to open out fully and for the magnet ends to meet. It gets easier as the layers relax.

• Opens into a free-standing 3D tree
• Hand screen-printed in Jaipur, India
• Made from recycled cotton paper
• Dimensions: 28 x 22cm open, 28 x 11cm flat
• Cotton hanging loop and magnet closure

Plant a paper fir on the mantelpiece.
